San Joaquin Transportation Corridor Toll Road Design/Build Contract

San Joaquin Transportation Corridor was the first Toll Road Corridor in Orange County delivered through a design-build contract. The project consists of 12 miles of new highway through the Cities of Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, and Laguna Niguel.

The PacRim’s Principal Engineer was responsible for the design of the MacArthur Segment of the projects which included the multi-span pre-stressed concrete bridge MacArthur Boulevard Overcrossing, and seven-span pre-stressed concrete box girder MB8 On-Ramp.
