Roy Kim, a founding Principal, possesses a broad understanding of governmental agencies in California. A community services veteran of over fifteen years in Orange County before he co-founded PacRim, Mr. Kim served as an officer at various agencies including the Assistant Vice Chancellor’s office at UC Irvine with responsibilities in funding, organizing, and directing a broad range of educational, social, and community programs with numerous governmental and private entities. As a Principal at PacRim Engineering, he is responsible for the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. He also conducts public outreach efforts for various projects and assists clients with program pursuits.

He is experienced in the full spectrum of community services including strategic planning, program budgeting, organization, direction and operation of various programs, implementation of facility improvements, human resource developments, and external communications.

Mr. Kim received his MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business, UC Irvine in 2008 and a BA in Liberal Arts from Saint John’s College in 1998.
