PacRim started working from home on March 18th, not knowing what the future would hold. We have since settled in this new way of working remotely and have been successful. Deadlines have been met, though submittal processes were lengthier due to VPN and internet speeds. Meetings have been held virtually, introducing us to Zoom, Teams, Webex, RingCentral, Meet, and even the latest, Room. We even interviewed many candidates both near and far, and we have seven new family members who joined our Santa Ana, San Diego, and Los Angeles offices within the past few months.
Thomas Bekele (Design Engineer – LA), Elaine Gilbert, PE (Senior Project Engineer – SD), Kevin Villarama, PE, QSD, QSP, QISP (Project Engineer – SA), Abed Zarruq, EIT (Associate Engineer – SA), Daniel Hershey, PE (Senior Project Engineer – SD), Pei-Wen Hu, EIT (Project Engineer – LA), and Marco Cruzatt, EIT (Project Engineer – SA) have settled very well at PacRim. Today is Marco’s first day with us, and he will begin working on the East San Fernando Valley Corridor project for LACMTA. We appreciate their efforts so far, and we look forward to working with them further!
