I-5/Yesler Way to Northgate Vicinity – Pavement, Deck, Joints & Drainage Project

The project encompasses the stretch of I-5 between Yesler Way in Seattle and the Northgate vicinity, focusing on enhancing infrastructure along the Lakeview viaduct and Lake Washington Ship Canal Bridge. Key improvements involve installing new concrete panels, repaving the deck, and upgrading expansion joints. The project’s primary objective is to maintain the integrity of the current roadway and bridges. This entails rehabilitating roadway and ramp pavement, repairing bridge decks, replacing expansion joints, upgrading stormwater drainage, and ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for impacted ramp terminals. PacRim will be providing structure design support services related to bridges in this project.
