This project constructed a 3,716 SM (40,000 SF) Human Performance Training Center to support Naval Special Warfare Groups ONE, TEN, ELEVEN, and subordinate units. The facility co-located sports medicine and human performance and supported special operator injury prevention, rehabilitation, testing and evaluation, strength and conditioning, nutrition, research and development, and sports psychology. The project included all pertinent site improvements and site preparations, mechanical and electrical utilities, telecommunications, emergency generator, landscaping, irrigation, drainage, parking, and exterior lighting.

The scope of work was to provide architect-engineering services for an RFP package for the design and construction of FY-17 Project P-952, Naval Special Warfare Human Performance Training Center, Navy Special Warfare Command, Coastal Campus, Naval Base Coronado. Services were provided in accordance with this scope, DD 1391, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) Design Criteria in the Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG), and in general conformance with the Area Development Plan.

As a sub-consultant to RJC Architects, PacRim’s services included quality control review of the RFP development and civil engineering consulting services. RJC Architects later authorized PacRim to provide PCAS services.
