OCTA is in the process of implementing a replacement for the Transit Security & Operations Center (TSOC). The proposed TSOC is planned to include a two-story facility that is approximately 30,000 square feet, a roof-mounted microwave tower, a fueling station, a renewable electricity generating system, electric vehicle charging stations, and dedicated parking for employees, patrol vehicles, and visitors. The TSOC design will comply with the Essential Services Buildings Seismic Safety Act (ESBSSA). 

PacRim’s scope of work includes project management, agency coordination, and public outreach, A&E design studies and reports, A&E PS&E / cost estimate, construction bid support, construction monitoring/support, and project closeout. The civil components in PacRim’s scope include:

  • Onsite: grading; paving; drainage; wet utilities to serve the new facility and development consisting of sewer, domestic and fire water, storm drains; and dry utilities consisting of power and communication lines
  • Offsite: street improvements required by the City of Anaheim and utility connections to the existing public utilities located in the right-of-way of Lincoln Ave.
