PacRim Engineering was responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team to widen the Vermont Avenue Overcrossing Bridge and complete associated interchange improvements. The project was funded by Metro Call for Projects and other local funds. The design followed Caltrans Project Development Procedures and Caltrans Bridge Design Manuals. The scope of services of the project included NEPA and CEQA environmental documents, preparation and approval of Project Report, complete engineering design, and final preparation of Plan, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E). The project required coordination and approval from Caltrans District 7 and headquarters, as well as the approval of the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering.
